- Do I need a Bachelor’s degree to become a PRA?
No. An associate’s degree in a science related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience is required. However, a bachelor’s degree would be considered in lieu of experience. - What types of prior experience makes me a strong match for the PRA role?
Good question. The PRA is primarily responsible for patient outreach and recruitment. Prior background in a patient and/or customer-facing role, preferably remote or on the phone, is preferred. - Will I need to submit a copy of my transcripts and other documentation prior to hire?
Yes. Upon your acceptance of an offer from IMR, you will be contacted and provided instructions on how to submit additional documents. - Are there physical requirements for being a PRA?
The physical requirements and activities that are required to perform the essential functions of the position include, but may not be limited to, as follows:- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a variety of phone, conferencing, and other physical and virtual communication tools.
- Must be able to regularly use fingers, hands for computer work.
- Must be able to frequently handle stressful situations and concentrate for long periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, pull and push a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, and stoop.
- How long is the training program and how much can I expect to earn while in training?
Training for the position lasts 4-6 weeks. You will receive the standard pay rate of $22.25 an hour. After your initial year of working, pay rates generally increase annually based on meets expectations or better performance. - What hours would I be expected to work as a PRA with IMR?
The PRA is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days onsite. Hours worked are generally between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST.
